Around 1692
Devistation happened
People believed witches to be true

They were wrongly acused
And they were put to trial
The judge sentenced them all to death
Nobody was in denial

Some were sent to jail
Some were hung
One was crushed
hooray the people sung!

This was the first genre that I did for this project. I think I chose a poem to do because we had just finished a project on poems and I felt confident about writing one. This poem is just supposed to be a general poem that gives you the basic ideas about the witch trials. Since this was my first post, I thought it would be right to do sort of an introductory poem. This poem gives you the basics and I give you all the details in the rest of the blog!
